How can I provide proof of identification if I have lost or my personal documentation has been stolen? When checking in and boarding, all passengers must provide proof of identity by showing their DNI (Spanish National ID document), passport, ID document from their country of origin or driving licence. Are the cabins shared? Can any person that the customer wishes to invite into their cabin enter? No, cabins are not shared with third parties not included on that reservation. Access to the cabin is limited to passengers who have reserved it.
What services do the cabins offer? All the cabins have a bathroom with shower, wardrobes, a table and chairs. On some ferries there are also cabin suites with a TV and additional services. Furthermore, the Martín i Soler, Alhucemas, Abel Matutes and Visemar ferries boast cabins adapted to the needs of people with reduced mobility.
Is there mobile phone coverage during the crossing? Does this incur an additional charge? Only Matín i Soler has permanent mobile phone coverage with the operator SEANET. Ask your telephone company the cost of calls. On some of the routes there is coverage on practically the whole crossing.
Is there WIFI? Are there plugs on board?
The ferries+ Abel Matutes, Alhucemas and Martín i Soler boast internet via satellite charged at 1 Euro for 15 minutes, 2 Euros for 40 minutes and 3 Euros for 60 minutes. There are also plugs in the ferry lounges.
Where will my pet travel? Pets always have to travel in the ventilated containers or travel boxes which all of Baleària’s ferries have.
