European Consumer Complaint Form

The European Consumer Complaint Form arose from an agreement with the  'Asociación de Usuarios de la Comunicación' (Association of Communication Users), the organisation entrusted to introduce this document into Spain, the aim of which is to deal with all complaints made at a European level.

For Balearia it is of primordial importance to reach an understanding between consumers and the company, always striving for a form of communication that resolves any discrepancies there may be.

The use of this form is a pilot project within Europe that aims to unify complaints into a single format, thus speeding up their processing and resulting in greater speed when solving the complaints made by the users.

The questionnaire's simple format enables the user to easily outline their complaint. Furthermore, the document can be used in an extra-judicial proceeding in the case where the two parties cannot reach an amicable agreement.

The project is being developed simultaneously in nine European Union countries: Sweden, Luxemburg, Portugal, Netherlands, France, Finland, Italy, Austria and Spain. With this project the solution to citizens' complaints are dealt with simply, quickly, efficiently and economically throughout the European Union.
